Claudia Gonzales-George

Claudia Gonzalez-George is a first-generation Mexican-American. She graduated from San Pedro High School in California and earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She was the first in her family to attend college. Claudia has a teaching license from the state of Oklahoma, having taught 3rd and 2nd grade. She has been married to her husband, Kendall George, for 27 years. They have 3 children, and their youngest daughter is a sophomore at NHS. Claudia is passionate about public education and social justice issues. She also serves as the executive assistant of the provost at St. Olaf College.
