Angelica Linder
Angelica Linder is a Colombian librarian who serves in the role of Outreach Services Manager. She holds a degree in Hotel Administration and Tourism Management from Universidad Autónoma del Caribe, Barranquilla, Colombia, 2023.
Angelica helped with the implementation of a new Municipal ID, which is an alternative ID that helps people to bank, rent, and work. In her role at the library, she has helped hire more bilingual staff and recognize a second language as an incredibly valuable asset.
She also started the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, which happened for the first time in 2018, being a success!
More recently, Angelica helped create the Latino Choir called “Sabios Cantores,” which is directed by Vladimir Garrido. These initiatives are just a small part of what Angelica does for the community, making her an incredible point of contact for any idea or new initiative.
