Heriberto Rosas
Heriberto Rosas is a Mexican photographer, videographer, and radio host originally from Maltrata, Veracruz. Completely self-taught from YouTube videos, he began his audiovisual career 15 years ago and later joined the local Northfield radio “El Barrio Latino” to ensure the Latino community has a strong voice.
Through his lens, Heriberto has helped bridge cultural gaps in the city. By capturing and exhibiting the joy of Latino festivities at City Hall, he encouraged the broader community to attend and embrace these celebrations. His remarkable talent led him to be hired by the City of Northfield, the local School District, and political campaigns to photograph major events like Winter Walk, Pride, and Night to Unite.
He also created a highly praised short film about the Northfield River, which was showcased in a film festival, and documented the George Floyd movement in Northfield with powerful drone photography.
These projects are just a small part of how Heriberto captures the essence of the community, inspiring new generations to use media and art to share their unique perspectives with the world.
